Remington Model 29T or "D"

In my hunting for bonified Remington trap and pigeon gun versions I've not seen too many 29's for sale. They were a bridge gun between the Model 10 and 31. I'd enjoy any collector photos of graded guns if possible.

Re: Help ID ou barrels

I bought these barrels and have been busy! They cleaned up nicely and will be fitted to a neat Model 32 of mine.
The 20 gauge barrels and 12 gauge (bulged) --is getting a set of 12/20 Briley Sidekick inserts.

Re: Looking for info on a 1885 Grade 2 16ga

Vey nice 1885! The 16 gauge seems to be vey illusive to collectors, I know one that specialized in 16 gauge Remington SxS's and looked of many years of an 1889 in any grade. I'm always a bit suspicious of cyl/cyl as it usually means a cut off barrel.

Re: What appears to be a 12ga Double Barrel Pistol

The action has valuable parts for restorers, specifically the distinctive hammers as many were lost over the century of use.

Re: Basic question on an 1873 Whitmore Hammer Lifter shotgun

Most of the lifter guns I've seen have quite a bit of wear play. As Remington changed models they advanced greatly with metallurgy as well as design technology. Turn of the century models were much stronger, I have a number of SxS's as fully functional shooters.

I was sideways when I dictated the tutorial! Yes, push the lever up and hold it.--not sideways

Hold the lever the right, keep lowering the barrels downward (straight and smooth) gently lift up off of the pivot point

Re: Remington FE trigger guard?

Thanks! Working on a very nice FE restoration. A few variations: regular 1894 butt plate, no center bead.
The wood is FAR nicer than any FE or B grades Iv'e seen. Stock dimensions are FE too as well, the barrel is marked "Trap Gun F Grade" 30" FxF

Model 32 single trigger upgrade?

I have a first year (3 digit) square tang Model 32TC that is a single trigger, I am wondering if it is a factor upgrade and if any one knows if there is any marking code for these upgrades?
