Hi there,

According to my father the stock had been repaired, yet not replaced.

At any rate this is a 12gauge, 76cm /29.9inch gun.

No worries, there is the SN engraving on the trigger guard.

Will wait for input as to any value other than it's sentimental so as to arrange insurance.

Many thanks for your confirmation! I was indeed referring to the Damascus patterns by "engravings".

Goes without saying it is due for gunsmith soon.

As mentioned the gun is of invaluable worth, I intend to use it for hunting once repaired and in perfect working order.

First off many thanks for your attention and comrehensive info!

Attaching pics of the gun, which indeed has some fine engravings on the length of the barrels albeit almost wiped out by obvious throught wear'n'tear.

I have an old double barrel Remington hunting rifle, given to me by my grandad (RIP) before he passed some 20 years ago.
