Ohio Gun Show – 2023
The Ohio Gun Collectors Association looks for- ward to hosting the Remington Society of America on July 22-23, 2023 in Wilmington, Ohio along with ROCS (the Ruger Owners & Collectors Soci- ety). For those not familiar, OGCA is the oldest and largest private nonprofit group of firearm collectors, having started in 1937 and now standing at 17,000 members nationwide. OGCA currently holds six meetings per year at the Roberts Centre, and has recently added a new hall in Medina, OH.
Wilmington Meeting Hall: The Roberts Conven- tion Centre 123 Gano Road, Wilmington, Ohio directly along I-71 at U.S. 68 [Exit 50] between three of Ohio’s largest cities: Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati (www.robertscentre.com). Fantastic highway access, easy unloading, free parking, and nearby hotels and restaurants.
Show Hours: 8:30 am – 5 pm Saturday, 8:30 am – 2 pm Sunday Set-up Hours: RSA member set up 1 pm – 9 pm Friday July 21 (2 hours earlier than nor- mal). Saturday set up is 7 am – 8:30 am and Sunday is 7:30 – 8:30 am
Guest Pass Forms: OGCA is normally limited to members and their guests, but all RSA members and their families are invited for this special event. A Guest Pass form signed by OGCA President Pro Temp Terrie Hill is available to all members through OGCA. RSA members who are not also a member of OGCA will be considered a guest. Guests may buy, sell and trade in accordance with the laws rules and regulations as well as rent table space for the Invitational meeting. Guest passes are $15 per person for the weekend.
Renting Table Space: RSA will have its own prom- inent section, and a Table Application is available now. Table rent is $95 per trade table and $75 for RSA display-only tables. Please reserve by June 26, 2023 or earlier so that RSA tables can be placed to- gether. Table confirmations will be mailed 2 weeks prior to the show on July 7th along with additional information.
Joining: Those who would like to forego the $15 guest pass fee may instead join OGCA by filling out and returning a membership application in ad- vance by mail. The cost to apply for membership for the July meeting is $30 and includes a one-time application fee and your OGCA membership dues through 12/31/2023. It allows for a free spouse fam- ily badge, saving $30 per couple versus two guest passes. To apply in advance, contact Laura Knotts for a “Collectors Association mail in Membership Application” to return by May 31, 2023 or earlier.
