241 Remington serial #

Post by 54bullseye »

Are there any 241 collectors that could help me ?? I have quite a few model 16s- 121s- 721s - 722s and all the butt stocks and butt plates are serial numbered to the gun... I have one 241 and am thinking on buying another and neither have butt plate or stock numbered to gun but stock finish and color looks right ... Does any one no whats correct ??
Thanks John

I haven't checked the 241s, but the butt plates on M/12s almost always have serial #s close to that on the rifle but not the same.

John : I talked to you on the phone and buy email about a year ago ... I had just bought a real nice 121B and was looking for some info on it . You told me what you new and said there wasn't much info on the 121Bs and I thank you for that !!!! The reason I am asking about the 241s is I am interested in buying a 241B {which I have never seen before} The funny thing is he says he bought it from you . the serial number on the butt plate is about 20,000 lower than the gun... could that be correct and do you rember the gun ???? I remember the rifle. I sold it several years ago in a package deal. I don't know if I checked the butt plate serial #, but I obviously thought the rifle was correct.
