That is one of the finest engravings I have seen on a box lock anywhere from USA, German, Britain and Spain. Remingtons are certainly under appreciated.

I recently picked up a FE trap live pigeon serial number 135xxx made in 1907. Straight stock and deleted safety. I will say it shoots very well I just toke it out and shot 125 targets in sporting clays.

Mike, Very nice FE/Pigeon Grade! But shooting sporting clays? That gun would love to have birds launched in the Ring!

Mike, are your 32" FE/Pigeon barrels Remington or Ordinance steel? I think if it was built as an FE it would have Remington steel barrels but built as a Pigeon Gun I think it would sport an Ordinance set. I have a straight grip trap BEO (30" ordinance,
numbers match) with a safety.

32" 12 gauge barrels in any grade have eluded me, I have found 1894 10 gauge 32" as they seem more common. It seems like the other American Trap and Pigeon gun builders offered 32" barrels as I have seen Foxes and Parkers with them.

I'll add that I shot a 32" BE Fox trap gun for a morning dove hunt as a bud was selling it. It felt like I hung a dead cat on the end of the barrel! I like 30's!

*Mike, you can afford ZZ Birds at my place.
Also the triggers on the FE/Pigeon look custom.
