According to Rem records yours was made in 1920, one year before the date codes...

No web site with that info that I know of. The info from Remington on serial #s & date produced is not much more than an educated guess on their part. They "reconstructed" records from the best historical info they had. Serial #s went quite a ways beyond their published #s on both the No. 4 & M/6. Your No 4, being from 1924 had the date code so you could tell the month/year of assembly.
