Thanks Mainspring. I did seen that online. I cant find any reference or listing from Remington on that gun/caliber as I originally mentioned. Classy looking, light & dark laminate stock with hard Remington logo buttplate instead of the everpresent recoil pad.

Chip, this gun just came out of an old home's pantry drawer about 20 miles from Ilion, NY.... been there for a couple of generations wrapped in a nice cloth. Looking at the chambers in the cylinder & the breech it may have not been fired since it left the factory. Appreciate your input. Thanks.

ejector seems to be stepped slightly (seam) and there is a screw at the muzzle end.

Serial number 266. full blue, amber grips, near new condition. Nicest blued Smoot that I have seen.
I believe it's .30cal cyl 13/16" bbl 2 13/16"

......what percentage of blued Smoots have you found? I will be looking at one today. High condition gun.
