All RSA members are invited to join us at the 28th Annual Historical Seminar in Denton, Texas, October 13–15, 2026.

Opening and closing dinner will be held at the Embassy Suites Denton Convention Center located at 3100 Town Center Trail, Denton, TX 76201. Hotel rooms are blocked from October 11th through the 18th for the rate of $152 per night plus tax. Please mention the RSA Historical Seminar when making reservations. This year’s seminar will be held in conjunction with the Texas Gun Collectors Association (TGCA) Fall show held on October 16th – 18th. Both the events will be held at the same location. We encourage RSA members who are attending the seminar to stay for the amazing TGCA show, which starts at 12 noon on Friday the 16th.

The TGCA was founded in 1950, meeting regularly in hotels and meeting halls throughout the great state of Texas. The TGCA is considered to be one of the country’s leading arms collecting organizations. Their three-day spring and fall weekend shows highlight antique, classic, and collectible arms, accoutrements and accessories, with western and Civil War memorabilia, gambling and saloon paraphernalia, and much more. A TGCA show is one to have on your bucket list. There is also an auction on Saturday night, a lady’s program at each show, and many first-class displays.

The RSA seminar will open on the 13th with dinner catered at the Embassy Suites Denton Convention Center. On the 14th, the seminar attendees are invited to the Rock Island Auction House in Bedford, Texas for a tour of the facility. Presentations will be held on the

afternoon of the 14th at Rock Island Auction House. The 15th will consist of local historical tour, with presentations in the afternoon, concluding with dinner catered at the hotel, along with the RSA auction.

The $200.00 attendee fee can be mailed to the RSA P.O. Box 269, Duck River TN 38454. Make the check payable to the RSA. For members arriving by air, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is approximately 25-30 miles away.

All attending members need to have their payment in by September 15th.
